I’m a media professional with 10 years of experience in breaking news reporting, feature writing and content creation, as well as digital production, social media and website management. I have a passion for creating cross-platform content that users will enjoy and regularly use data and trends to guide my strategy.
I started my career in 2014 with USA TODAY as a High School Sports reporter and producer and was promoted to the national desk in 2015 to produce coverage of college and professional sports. In 2019, I moved to a new position within the company to cover college and amateur golf for Golfweek Magazine. In 2021 I was promoted to cover the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in Wadsworth, Ohio, I graduated from George Mason University in 2015 with a Communication degree that featured a concentration in PR and minor in Electronic Journalism. I worked for the university’s student-run outlet The Fourth Estate as a sports writer and general columnist and also co-hosted a sports talk radio show.
My past work and internships include a semester-long reporting internship in London, working for Screen International, a magazine and daily website covering the film industry. The semester before that, I interned at USA TODAY Sports during the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
